Tutoring for kids with dyslexia.
Experience the Orton-Gillingham difference with individualized, structured literacy lessons tailored to meet your child's needs. Serving students in Fountain Hills, AZ and nearby cities.
A structured, multisensory way to teach reading.
A flexible approach — direct, explicit, sequential, and diagnostic — for teaching reading, writing, and spelling to people who struggle with literacy, including those with dyslexia. It reflects the work of Dr. Samuel Orton and Anna Gillingham.
Every lesson engages three senses at the same time:
Because seeing, hearing, and touching happen all at once — not one after another — each sense reinforces the others in the same moment. That simultaneity is what builds the strong, lasting connections in the brain that make reading stick.
This is not a boxed curriculum. Every lesson is individualized — paced and designed around one student's strengths and needs.

Academy-trainedAssociate practitioner
Hi, I'm Lori.
I trained through the Orton-Gillingham Academy and work as an Associate-level practitioner under the mentorship of a Fellow. I hold a bachelor's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, taught first and second grade, taught English overseas, and spent eighteen years homeschooling my own children.
Teaching reading has always been my passion — especially helping struggling readers gain the tools and the confidence to succeed.
